About Calliditas Therapeutics
Calliditas is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company focused on identifying, developing, and commercializing novel treatments in orphan indications, with an initial focus on renal and hepatic diseases with significant unmet medical needs.
Calliditas’ lead product, developed under the name Nefecon, has been granted accelerated approval by the FDA under the trade name TARPEYO® and conditional marketing authorization by the European Commission under the trade name KINPEYGO®.
TARPEYO and KINPEYGO® are the first and only treatments approved for IgA nephropathy by the FDA and EMA, respectively.
Calliditas also has a pipeline in orphan-focused indications. Calliditas is conducting a Phase 2b/3 clinical trial in primary biliary cholangitis and a Phase 2 proof-of-concept trial in head and neck cancer with its NOX inhibitor product candidate, setanaxib.
During 2024 Calliditas Therapeutics was aquired by Asahi Kasei and the integration has started with an exiting journey ahead.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As an HR Manager/HR Business Partner at Calliditas, you will have broad responsibilities, including HR policies, compliance programs, recruitment, benefits, and supporting the management team. You will be a part of the European HR team and work closely together with a variety of operational tasks across Sweden, the UK, France, and Switzerland.
This is a highly impactful role where you will not manage a team or be part of the management team but act as a vital link between management and employees, driving culture and organizational values. You will also:
· Develop and implement HR policies, compliance programs, and initiatives.
· Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and employer branding strategies.
· Manage salary reviews, benefits administration, and labor law compliance.
· Collaborate with lawyers and tax specialists when needed.
· Be a cultural ambassador, fostering collaboration and engagement across the organization.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
· University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
· A significant experience from working in a broad HR role.
· Strong knowledge of Swedish labor law and HR administrative duties.
· Experience with HR systems and working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
· Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
· Proactive, structured, and highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
